Tulip FONT Download
Designer: James Marsh
Publisher: ArtyType
I've had an interest in typography since my college days, even doing my NDD thesis on the subject. The basic concept for this typeface stems from that creative period, hence the obvious 60’s retro feel. It’s only recently that I've have had the chance to carry through fully some of my dormant typographic ideas but ‘better late than never’ as they say!
The font’s characteristic is based on repeated and rotating templates of a half and a quarter circle to form the geometric building blocks. The name was clearly influenced by the letter ‘u’, which visually describe a stylized ‘tulip’ shape.
