Studio Ribbon is a display font for all holiday occasions, from Christmas to birthdays. Since the bullet character is a star shape, it will even work for the 4th of July! This font is a striped ribbon style with some ends that are cut at the classic ribbon angle, with different options on some glyphs between upper and lower case. I resisted the impulse to have every edge have a cut; as a result, the overall look of the font is lively but still very readable. It has a hint of the Victorian, yet it’s modern looking and clean. Studio Ribbon is fairly substantial and will work well from 36 point and up.

The font is an all-caps design, but, as noted above, I have set the lower-case on quite a few glyphs as an alternate version of the character. I suggest you set your type in all-caps first, then if there are endings that bother you, see what the lowercase version is. For instance, the uppercase T has the cut ribbon end on the left, the lowercase t has it on the right, so setting 2 T’s together looks better as Tt, with the cut ends going in different directions. The uppercase S has both ends cut, the lowercase has only the top end cut—which can look better with certain character combinations. The uppercase A, E, F and H have a crossbar that curves up while the in the lowercase characters, the crossbars go straight across. There are many variations you can create for a one-of-a-kind look.
