Jimbo FONT Download
Designer: Jim Parkinson
Publisher: Adobe
This enthusiastic and friendly serif display typeface was created by Jim Parkinson, an Oakland, California, lettering artist and designer who is best-known for logos such as the one he redrew for Rolling Stone magazine in the late 1970s.
Based on an early logotype for Parkinsons studio,
Jimbo embodies the charismatic personality of mid-20th-century advertising and sign painters lettering. Its like a happy Bodoni, says Parkinson.
Designed primarily for use at large display sizes,
Jimbo is also clear and readable in short text settings as small as 12 points. Use it for signs, advertising, and packaging.
Patent Design pending.
