Garth Graphic FONT Download
Designer: Constance Blanchard,
Publisher: Adobe
Based on a John Matt design for a roman and italic font from the 1960s,
Garth Graphic was acquired by Compugraphic Corporation and redesigned and expanded to eight weights by Renee LeWinter and Constance Blanchard for its 1979 release.
Garth Graphic is a sturdy and flexible text family that includes several weights and two condensed faces; it is also popular for advertising, short texts, and display work.
It is named after Bill Garth, one of the founders of Compugraphic, later Agfa, a division of Miles and now Monotype.
