Anomique FONT Download
Designer: Enric Crous-Vidal,
Publisher: Subtext Office
Anomique is a revival of a French mid-century sans-serif designed by Enric Crous-Vidal in the early 1960s. Crous-Vidal rejected the homogenization of European modernist type and instead looked to the “seductive” influence of what he called the “Latin Arabesque.”
Exaggerated calligraphic strokes and a lively energy showcase
Anomique’s unique influence, while careful balance and an expanded latin character set make it suitable for both display and text settings in the digital age.
While some aspects of the design have been updated for contemporary usage, OpenType provides access to original alternate designs, as well as a new set of oldstyle figures.
